Extension Install Guide

Use this guide to install the Career Capybara Chrome extension beta for testing.

What you need

• Google Chrome
• The Career Capybara extension beta zip package

Install steps

1. Download the Career Capybara extension beta zip package.
2. Unzip the file on your computer.
3. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions.
4. Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
5. Click Load unpacked.
6. Select the unzipped extension/ folder.
7. The Career Capybara extension should now appear in Chrome.

Connect the extension

1. Open Career Capybara and sign in.
2. Open the extension panel in Chrome.
3. Click Reconnect if needed.
4. If you are asked for a token, open Settings -> Autofill and click Generate session.

Update the extension

1. Download the newest beta zip.
2. Replace the old unzipped extension folder.
3. Open chrome://extensions.
4. Click the refresh icon on the Career Capybara extension card.

Notes

• This beta is installed manually with Load unpacked.
• Chrome will not auto-update this beta build.
• If the extension looks stale after an update, refresh the extension and reload the job page.
