Founder Story
I built Career Capybara because AI made job search faster, but not wiser.
When AI tools first started helping candidates generate resumes and apply at scale, the short-term benefit was obvious: people could send more applications, faster. But the long-term cost was just as obvious to me.
Hiring teams would be flooded with polished, generic applications. ATS platforms would respond with stronger filters. Recruiters would have less time, not more. And serious candidates would be pushed into a louder market where speed alone made everyone easier to ignore.
My background is in marketing, automation, and account-based campaigns, so I could not see job search as a simple resume submission problem. Applying to a company is a stakeholder journey: the ATS is the gatekeeper, the recruiter is scanning for signal, and the hiring manager is looking for confidence in your trajectory, judgment, and fit.
That is the philosophy behind Career Capybara. We are building a more deliberate way to search: track every role like an account, tailor resumes without losing truth, invite human feedback, prepare for each interview stage, negotiate stronger offers, and keep the work connected from first application to first 90 days.
Career Capybara exists for people who want to stand out with better signal, not send more noise.
