By accessing or using the Career Capybara platform, website, and browser extensions (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Career Capybara provides a comprehensive toolkit for managing job applications, tailoring resumes, and preparing for interviews. This includes the use of artificial intelligence (AI) integrations to summarize, format, and generate textual suggestions based on the user's input.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Output generated through our product utilizing AI language models makes mistakes, can hallucinate information, and does not replace human judgment.

• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy and truthfulness of any generated resume bullet, cover letter, or interview script before using it in a professional context.
• No Guarantees: Career Capybara makes no warranties or representations regarding employment outcomes, interview success rates, or application acceptances arising from the use of our generated materials.

4. User Accounts and Conduct

You must be at least 18 years of old to use the Service. When creating an account, you must provide accurate information. You are strictly responsible for safeguarding your password and any actions performed under your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit intentionally fraudulent resumes, false credentials, or deceptive employment histories.
• Engage in automated mass-application scraping or spamming campaigns not intended by the standard operation of the Chrome extension.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or proprietary algorithms of Career Capybara.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of Career Capybara are billed on a subscription basis ("Paid Services"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring schedule. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date. All fees are non-refundable except where expressly noted or required by statute.

6. Intellectual Property

Career Capybara retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all related intellectual property rights. You retain ownership over all original textual content (e.g., your prior resume work history) that you upload into the system.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Career Capybara and its affiliates, directors, or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or employment opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
